Recal is an AI-powered meeting assistant that provides video conferencing, transcription, summarization, and task extraction services. The Service may include:
- Real-time video and audio conferencing
- Automated meeting transcription
- AI-generated meeting summaries
- Action item and task extraction
- Meeting chat and search functionality
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Record meetings without proper consent from all participants
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
5. Consent to Recording
By using Recal, you acknowledge that meetings may be recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by our AI systems. You are responsible for:
- Informing all meeting participants that the meeting is being recorded
- Obtaining necessary consents from all participants before recording
- Complying with all applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Recal and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service, including meeting recordings and transcripts. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this content to provide the Service.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Recal, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
