The team bot works in channels where it's invited and summaries are visible to channel members. Personal mode is just for you — summarize any conversation you're part of, with results visible only to you.
No. Personal summaries are completely private and stored only in your Recal account. Your workspace admin has no visibility into your personal summaries or which conversations you've analyzed.
No admin approval needed! Personal mode uses your individual Slack permissions. If you can read a message, you can summarize it — no additional setup or approvals required.
You can summarize any direct message, group DM, or private channel conversation you're part of. If you can see it in Slack, you can get an AI summary of it.
Absolutely. Your conversations are encrypted end-to-end and never stored long-term. We only process the messages when you request a summary, and the raw content is deleted immediately after.
