Once you configure a recap in Recal, our system automatically fetches messages from your selected channels at your scheduled time (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly). The AI analyzes all messages from that period and posts a structured summary directly to Slack with highlights, decisions, blockers, progress updates, open questions, and action items.
You choose your preferred timezone when setting up a recap. The default is Europe/Warsaw, but you can select from major timezones worldwide. Recaps are delivered within 15 minutes of your scheduled time.
Yes! You can configure multiple recaps, each covering different channels. Each channel gets its own separate recap so the summaries stay focused and relevant.
You have three options: post the recap to the same channel being summarized, send it to a different channel (like #team-updates), or receive it as a direct message to yourself.
